I have a lot of trouble painting tubular flowers...showing depth into the center of the flower. My azaleas are now blooming, so I'm going to be painting them in watercolor for a few days to see if I can improve my techniques.
I look forward to watching you practice. I think those are beautiful. I alwsys seem to have too heavy a touch and the paint starts looking muddy to me, not true.
I love your watercolors. Keep 'em coming! I don't yet have the patience to paint such delicate flowers, but you inspire me to sit down relax and have fun pushing color onto paper.
I am an artist who enjoys drawing; painting; creating silver, enameled and beaded jewelry; photography; and digital art. I also enjoy playing a dulcimer.
In 2007, I discovered the mountain dulcimer and I've spent the last couple of years learning to play this instrument.

These are gorgeous! You really captured the delicate airy petals.
Very Nice -- my plants are on the verge of popping open now..I'm impatient to see them!
