Can I come live with you? We have pussywillows but still no flowers. There is the slightest bit of green showing in my yard....where the snow is gone! I love your flowers, they cheer me.
I am enjoying your Azalea paintings - it is good of you to share your flowers and cheer those of us who still wait for blossom to appear! I am with you on the difficulty of backgrounds - I always have a problem with them. I could not decide whether I preferred the Azaleas with dark or light backgrounds. The painting you posted on 02 Apr 09 is wonderful and so delicate. However, the painting with the dark blue background has real drama about it....!
Thank you so much for your comment on my blog. ^^ I am so glad you being the master of flowers approved. I didn't really get a chance to focus on the flowers, I haven't got any close-ups actually. But your flowers are always just so nice to look at! Happy Easter!
My azaleas are blooming their little heads off, now, too -- I've got one that's a dark pink..very interesting shade. And a White One!! Never seen a white one, so it's verrryyy interesting!!
I am an artist who enjoys drawing; painting; creating silver, enameled and beaded jewelry; photography; and digital art. I also enjoy playing a dulcimer.
In 2007, I discovered the mountain dulcimer and I've spent the last couple of years learning to play this instrument.

What a beautiful painting. Really gorgeous colours. And how lucky to have them right in your own garden - as an apartment-dweller I am very jealous!
These are lovely!
Beautiful flowers.

Happy Easter!
I love the pop of deep color in the center of each flower. If flowers can look yummy, then these look yummy.
Each time you are getting better! This one is gorgeous!
Ohh -- these are just so soft and dreamy --
