A Mug in My Moly...

This is second drawing in Moly sketchbook. I used watercolor pencils to add some color...and this time I drew across both pages. Seems a little strange to do that, but I guess it's something you get used to doing. After I scanned this...I added a bit of water to some of the areas...but I think in the future, I'll use my watercolor Moly for wet media. I was afraid the water would wrinkle my paper or maybe bleed through to the back...so I was very careful to only add a tiny bit of water.

This looks great, Carolyn.

I have forgotten and used quite a bit of water and my WC Moly hasn't wrinkled or buckled at all. I use the pencils and Wc both in mine and haven't had a problem.

The sketchbook has a smooth texture, but I use water with my WC pencils in it too. You can't use as much water in it as you can the WC book without buckling, but you can use some. Have fun!

This is really cute! I like how the border enhances the fish theme. I use water in my moly, and you're right - less is better. Too much does make the paper wrinkle rather unattractively.
