New Moleskine Sketchbook

I bought a very small Moleskine sketchbook...one that I can carry around with me all the time. I did my first drawing in it today. This book is 5.6" x 3.6" and I'm used to sketchbooks from 5" x 7" up to 9" x 12". It is definitely going to take getting used to drawing that small. I have a set of cups that I bought years ago because they had red flowers on them...but they are small and don't hold as much coffee as a mug...so they sit on a shelf just looking pretty. I choose to draw one of them to christen my new sketchbook. I used pencil, then a very fine Micron pen to go over the drawing...then used watercolor pencils to add a bit of color.

Well done!

Mine is small too, like yours, and it does take a little getting used to.

You'll do well.

I love your cup and your word design in this, Carolyn. Looks great!

I bought a Handbook sketchbook by mistake, and I like it ok, but not nearly as much as the Moleskines.
